Urban archaeology on a small scale: a Lisbon neighbourhood, seen through what it throws away.
Not the architecture, not the landmarks — a bottle cap, a strawberry wrapper, a pink feather, a parking ticket.

Campo de Ourique. Poster: the finds, their dates and coordinates.
I walked the streets of Campo de Ourique and picked up whatever caught my eye: colourful, shiny, strangely specific bits of rubbish. Each find was photographed where it lay, with the time and place recorded.
Back home they were cleaned, photographed again on a plain background and arranged into a collection — part archive, part inventory, part still life.

Coordinates of finds, as printed on the poster.

02 / Found
Every find, picked up where it lay.
On the street: where each piece was found.
Date, time and place, recorded with each photo.

03 / Inventory
Each find, photographed again on white.
Laid out together on black, the rubbish turns into a specimen tray: sorted by colour and shape, numbered by the street. A pink feather sits next to a parking ticket; a Heineken cap next to a treble clef.
The collection, from above.
From photograph to flat shape.

04 / Reconstructed
The finds, turned into 3D objects — and allowed to float.
The finds as 3D models, generated from the photographs in Tencent Hunyuan 3D.
Photorealistic compositions: the same objects in 3D, labelled with the coordinates of where they were found.
A 2D composition, back among the tiles.

05 / Back on the street
On a fence. Mock-up.
Among the azulejos. Mock-up.
Technique: Street collection, photography, 3D models generated from photographs (Tencent Hunyuan 3D), 3D and 2D composition
